Director Of Marketing - Fast Growing Digital Payroll/HR SaaS Company One of our clients is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Marketing to lead their marketing efforts in a B2B SaaS HR and Payroll software company.
As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing both an in-house team and agency partners, and you will report directly to the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Marketing and Sales.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of marketing in the software industry, particularly in the B2B space.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a proven track record of driving marketing initiatives, and a passion for driving business growth.
B2B payroll/HR SaaS experience is a must.
Responsibilities:
1.
Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy:
o Collaborate with the EVP of Marketing and Sales to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
o Define target market segments and develop strategies to effectively reach and engage key decision-makers.
o Identify and evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to ensure the marketing strategy remains competitive and relevant.

Team and Agency Management:
o Lead, mentor, and manage an in-house marketing team, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
o Oversee and manage relationships with agency partners, including marketing agencies, PR firms, and other relevant partners.
o Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as sales, product management, and customer success, to align marketing efforts and drive overall business growth.

Brand Management:
o Define and maintain the company's brand positioning and messaging, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and communications.
o Develop and oversee the implementation of brand guidelines to maintain a strong and cohesive brand identity.
o Monitor brand perception and market trends to make data-driven recommendations for brand enhancement and differentiation.
4.
Demand Generation and Campaign Management:
o Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to generate qualified leads and support the sales pipeline.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content, including white-papers, case studies, blog posts, webinars, and other marketing collateral.
o Monitor campaign performance and leverage analytics to optimize marketing efforts and maximize return on investment (ROI).

Digital Marketing and Online Presence:
o Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy, including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and paid advertising, to drive online visibility and generate high-quality leads.
o Oversee the company's website, ensuring it reflects the brand, is optimized for lead generation, and provides an excellent user experience.
o Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and emerging technologies, and recommend innovative approaches to improve online presence and engagement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
o Proven track record of at least 8 years in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
o Experience in B2B marketing, preferably within the SaaS industry.
o Strong knowledge of HR and payroll software or related industries.
o Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
o Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
o Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics.
o Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
